Marian Huntoon has over twenty years of Real Estate Appraisal and Consulting experience throughout the United States. Ms. Huntoon is a designated member (SRA) of the Appraisal Institute, and is licensed as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of California. Marian has been qualified as an expert witness and provided testimony in the Superior Courts of Contra Costa County and Alameda County.

Marian's primary emphasis is on valuation and advisory services in connection with private and federally regulated lending decisions, partnership disputes, breaches of contract, tenant-landlord disputes, and claims of lost profits, among others.

Ms. Huntoon has extensive experience with the valuation of complex residential properties, feasibility analysis, and partial ownership interests.

Career Experience

As founder and principal of Real Valuation in 1997, Ms. Huntoon’s primary emphasis has been on valuation and advisory services in connection with private and federally regulated lending decisions, partnership disputes, divorce settlements, breaches of contract, tenant-landlord disputes, and claims of lost profits, among others.

Ms. Huntoon’s consulting practice includes quality control, investment analysis, and portfolio development. Advisory services have been used to develop investment strategies for high net-worth individuals, portfolio development, and developing quality control measures to reduce lending risks within specific portfolios. Ms. Huntoon has extensive experience with the valuation of complex residential properties, feasibility analysis, and partial ownership interests.
