Marjean Pountain is a self-employed property management consultant providing services to property owners and management companies. She also serves as an expert witness for legal and insurance professionals in matters associated with best practices and standards of care in real estate and property management.

With over 25 years in real estate property management, Ms. Pountain served as Vice President of Property Management responsible for over 7,000 units of residential housing and over one million square feet of commercial space for a large southeastern Wisconsin real estate company.

Pountain earned her CPM designation in 1991, and has been active with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) ever since serving on a number of national committees. She has also served the Regional Vice President for Region 9, overseeing IREM chapters in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Marjean Pountain is a member and active in additional real estate organizations which includes the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin (CARW), and Apartment Owners and Managers Association (AOMA). She also finds time for volunteer work serving on local community boards which include Friends of the Sheboygan Marsh and Elkhart Lake Public Library Board of Trustees.
